It truly deserves 5 stars and is certainly my best purchase on Amazon.The Author has done a great job. The quality of questions are a reflection of the considerable experience of the author.they are very helpful both for exam purposes and the daily clinical practice.you will find a lot of interesting questions in this book that will have a positive impact on your practice.Initially I thought the question on MKSAP were better but I think this book leaves you with a lot more to take home.And it's so cheap! Van der Rohe is one of the most influential architects of the 20th century. The master of the modern steel-and-glass skyscraper, he was a founder of modernism, the head of the German school of design known as Bauhaus, and the creator of such widely imitated landmarks as the German Pavilion in Barcelona and New York's Seagram building. Elegantly designed and illustrated with dramatic black-and-white photographs, floor plans, and classic details, this new edition brings van der Rohe's seminal book, originally published in 1964, back into print. There is little text: the photographs and drawings convey the "less is more" message. This edition benefits from an expanded appendix and several new color photographs of van der Rohe's most important buildings. A recommended addition to all architectural libraries.

ISBN: 0275495302 (also ISBN 0500201285) is an exclusively black & white, concise and copiously illustrated survey in English only of 51 major works on 203 pages revised in 1972 (first published in 1965) and similar to ISBN-10: 8425214769 published in 1992 by Gustavo Gili (GG) on 208 pages in the Works and Projects series in English and Spanish side by side. A short introductory part on several pages is followed by the main review part presenting each shortly described project in excellent B&W photos, plans, sections, elevations, hard line presentation drawings, models, sketches, etc. The book is ended with a biography, bibliography, list of collaborators, etc. on several pages. Most of 126 only B&W illustrations are technical, but all (incl. B&W photos) are of a good quality, well balanced, crisp and legible. Like all from the Works and Projects series, it is solid among architectural monographs, but slightly smaller than the same book in in the Studio Paperback series published in English and German side by side by Artemis (Z�rich) under ISBN: 3760881025, and by Birkh�user under ISBN: 3764356197 (Basel...) and ISBN: 0817656197 (Boston), and under ISBN: 3764355514 not in English, but in German and French side by side.
