The Conservatives waste of time

The conservative movement must have a place somewhere that continually spews out bad books to counter well researched serious books. This is another propaganda book that must come from there. If you notice at least 5 books come out each month with the same lame authors that hatefully bash the Moderate, Democratic or Liberal side. If you add this to the 24 hours of anger filled conservative talk radio. It looks like they have a problem with any other ideals except their own. If they would have their way it would be a democracy like Iran and they would be the supreme leaders. Freedom of speech would only be on their terms.

How does an author find a publisher for this drivel? Where are the credentials of a scholarly, well-researched disputation, if this purports to be one? This is nothing more than a couch-potato, knee-jerk spasmodic reaction from the lunatic fringe of the far-right to the work of an acknowledged apostate from the conservative movement when it was conservative, and not the neo-oddity it became. If you buy this book it is because you have too much money, too much time or you believe in the tooth fairy. This thing belongs on the trash-heap of history and judging by the Amazon Sales ranking it is on its way there, albeit not fast enough ...

I have not laughed so hard at a sexy hot book in a long time. Or at least until I read the last Julia Kent books. OMG. Shannon and Declan are amazing together. I love them. I love that Shannon has a crazy freaking family, and her mother is over the top and the secret that comes out about her past is effing fabulous. Like too much to gather. But I love it. Steve is an ass. Just like Todd. I so see how Marie went the other way with her husband and it is so sweet and caring. But these books are enough to make you pee in your pants. I have so many highlights in these books, you don't see any white in them any more. I can't wait for the next one, which I pre-ordered!!!
And the sexy elf and Santa,ho ho...LMAO. And yes, I didn't miss a ho there.

falling in love with a unique guy and gal

This boxed set Shopping. For a Billionaire is funny as hell. I loved it. It carried me through some very frustrating days vacationing with grumpy family members. I about laughed myself silly. Loved these characters and the silly situations they get into. Unfortunately I read book seven before I read 1-5 so I'm going to have go reread parts if it to get the full enjoyment of the series. Very yummy characters for the most part and the crazy ones are beyond belief.

Julia is a fantastic writer. Great dialog, with a sense of humor I've never encountered before. Only women have reviewed, as these are listed as "romance" novels, but they are more than that. Men are missing out, as these are NOT gender specific They are fantastic stories with even better characters. Her character development is awesome, and you just fall in love with all of them. They are true to life, with faults and qualities good find in real life. These aren't men that carry the gorgeous damsel away. The women have their insecurities, the men have no clue as to what makes a woman tick, just as no man ever has. I've read 8 of her 9 billionaire series books. I'll probably try her other series as well. She has been on the NY Times book best seller list several times and it's a top amazon author. Kindle ebooks don't detract with snake size. In fact they're easier to handle. Julia has become a favorite author

The hairy, leering, braces-sporting wolf is an entertaining contrast to the stolid, cheery boy. Full-color cartoon-style illustrations are barely contained by their borders on the pages, with all manner of ingredients spilling everywhere. Several double-paged spreads show aspects of the wolf's marketing expeditions, creating a sense of frenzy. Once again, the wolf gets the worst of it: the boy he brings home for dinner tempts him with a recipe for ``Boy Soup,'' but first the wolf must gather a plethora of ingredients, including a ton of potatoes, a cartload of carrots, and a barrel of bricks. Did he forget the salt? Never mind, the lad announces, Boy Pie would be better anyway, and requires just three foothills of flour, six sacks of cement, and a few similar items. When the wolf finally collapses in exhaustion, the boy bricks him up in his cave and saunters home. The long-nosed, snaggledtoothed wolf adopts an increasingly beleaguered expression as he rushes about gathering mounds of staples and produce, while Blundell's energetic line and pop-eyed, cartoony characters keep the tale moving at a manic pace. Beware of Boys: a Winner

It all starts when one small boy takes a shortcut through the woods(not usually a smart thing to do). He is, of course, captured by a mean and hungry wolf who takes the boy back to his cave. The boy soon convinces the wolf that it would be far better to cook the boy in some elaborate recipe than to eat him raw. Children can soon see where this story is heading and figure that the boy will somehow outsmart the wolf. When I picked this book for storytime at my elementary school I thought it might be a little long for short attention spans. However, from the reading of the title to the very end the children were really interested. The colorful pictures helped. I also liked the way the author wrote out the recipes for "Boy Soup," "Boy Pie" and "Boy Cake." It adds an extra touch of humor and uniqueness to the story. I recommend it highly.

About the Author
Mary Bassett is one of the world's leading experts on spotted ponies. She has been breeding Native British Spotted Ponies for the last twenty years and, as the most prolific producer in the country, has exported Broomells Spotted Ponies to Holland, Sweden, Denmark and Switzerland.

Lewis Carroll was the pen name of Charles Lutwidge Dodgson, an English writer, mathematician, Anglican deacon, and photographer. Best known for his classics Alice s Adventures in Wonderland, Through the Looking Glass, and Jabberwocky, Carroll was also an accomplished inventor who created an early version of what is today known as Scrabble. The publication of Alice s Adventures in Wonderland in 1865 brought Carroll a certain level of fame, although he continued to supplement his income through his work as a mathematics tutor at Christ Church, Oxford College. Carroll s whimsical characters and nonsensical verse resonated with Victorian-era readers, and his books continue to be enjoyed by numerous modern societies dedicated to his promoting his works.
